What we believe

  • The bible is the infallible and inerrant word of God that is timeless, and useful for all things in life. It was divinely inspired by God and written by men over many generations.

  • God is the living and true God that created all things. We call Him the trinity as He shows himself as God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

God the Father is and always will be. He is perfectly holy and without end. He reigns over all creation and all works for the purpose of His glory.

God the Son is God incarnate, representative in the flesh, born of a virgin and without sin his entire life on earth. He was the perfect, spotless lamb that was a substitute and paid the penalty for our sin by dying on the cross and coming alive again 3 days later to ascend at the right hand of the Father in heaven.

God the Holy Spirit convicts men of righteousness and judgement, changes the heart, transforms attitudes, thoughts, and actions, and gives the believer the ability to please God.

  • God created man and woman special, in His own image to know Him and to love Him. Due to sin, man was separated from God and is an enemy of God.

  • God offers us salvation from our sin and eternity with Him through the sacrifice of Jesus and our acceptance of Him as Lord of our life. If we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead, we will be saved.

  • Baptism is a symbol of our faith in the death and resurrection of Christ and the new life we have in Him. Baptism is done by full emersion in water in front of the congregation as a sign that the believer has confessed Jesus as Lord.

The Lord’s Supper is done in remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus. We partake to be obedient to the scriptures.

  • Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman where they leave their families to create a new family. The man and woman are equal in value to Christ but compliment each other in life. It isn’t about who does the laundry and the dishes, it’s about loving and submitting to one another.
